Registration and Fees

There are TWO registration payments during Summer for each player. The first is the player’s insurance plus a league administration cost, which is paid to Baseball Victoria (BV).

The second is the Waverley Baseball Club (WBC) player fees. Please scroll down to view details on BOTH registration payments.

The BV fee covers player insurance and administration costs of BV and BA. BV fee must be paid prior to commencing training, otherwise you will not be insured against injury. We will provide a link for payment when BV opens its website for registration.

If you are a non-playing volunteer (e.g. Junior Coach, Board/sub-committee member, Club Volunteer, Club Umpire, Club Scorer) then you must also register with BV.  There is no charge for non-playing volunteers.

WBC fee covers the Club’s expenses such as:

• Ground Rental
• BV Team registration fees
• Coaches fees
• Baseballs
• Umpires fees
• Utilities
• Insurance
• etc

Working with Children Check

You must have a valid Working with Children Check if you have direct contact with a Child in any club in a role such as:

• Club Executives
• Head Coaches
• Managers
• Scorers
• Canteen Staff
• Players
• Umpires – Club Games

As volunteers, WWCs can be obtained at no charge.
